Description Malcolm was tall, almost painfully thin, his hands large and bony. His short curly hair is shocking yellow, like goldfinch feathers with eyes the color of blue robin's eggs.

Commentary * Malcolm is a master vampire who made The Church of Eternal Life, promising eternal life as a vampire.

* He is currently the second strongest master vampire in St. Louis, but he has no wish to be master of the city.

Description Tall and slender, his hair falls past his shoulders in a pure, blood red color and his skin is white like a sheet. His eyes are true green - like a cat.

Commentary * Damian is at least one thousand years old. He was a marauding viking when he was made into a vampire. He was ransomed by Jean-Claude from his master. As old as he is, he will never be any more powerful than he is now.

* When Anita used the power of the triumverate for the first time she was able to raise an entire cemetary of zombies, including Willie, Liv and Damian.



* While defending the Circus, Damian receives a fatal sword wound from Warrick. Since Anita was able to call him previously, she used that link to keep his soul from fleeing the body while Jean-Claude withdrew the sword. Anita was able to save him, as a result.



* Damian begins acting very strangely with Anita in BM, first by asking her permission to feed and being very serious about it.



* Damian tells Anita about his first master, how she was a mora and would feed from terror for days before she would take blood. He speaks of her with terror and doesn't really reveal very much when he does.



* Anita orders both him and Asher to help cure Nathaniel's blood poisoning by taking it into his body and changing it. Asher was strong enough to do so, but Damian was not. So Anita allowed him to drink her blood in order to give him the strength to heal.



* Damian reveals to Anita all the information about the council and the things that Jean-Claude has withheld from her. He does this because he desires to be with her. Her necromancy is what animates him now and keeps him alive. If she gives him a direct order, he has no choice but to obey it.



* He has a hard time doing something large like feeding or leaving Anita's presence without asking her permission if she is nearby.



* Presumedly, when Damian attacked Barnaby after he and Nikki tried to kill Asher, he killed the rotting vampire.

Description Asher has shoulder length thick-waved golden hair that is nearly metallic in color. His eyes are blue and his face is extremely lovely. However, scars pucker the right side of his face, as well as the right side of his body, from where priests poured holy water in order to "cleanse" him.

Commentary * Asher once had a human servant named Julianna.

* Asher, Jean-Claude and Julianna were a ménage à trois in the past for longer than Anita has been alive.



* Jean-Claude's mother was dying, so he left them to go and visit her. The church then took both Juliana and Asher. Juliana was burned at the stake as a witch, while Asher was subjected to holy water being poured onto half of his body - the right side - resulting in major scarring. At the start of BO, he hasn't forgiven Jean-Claude for not coming back in time.



* Asher's scars cover the right side of his face, beginning a little before the midline of his face, allowing his nose to be perfect. There is no scarring on his pale neck, and then it begins again on his shoulder, moving downward. He has admitted to Anita that although his male member is scarred, he is still able to perform.



* One of Asher's abilities is flight.



* Asher's master is the same as Jean-Claude's, who is

Belle Morte (Beautiful Death) and he came to St. Louis to represent her for the council against Jean-Claude.



* When Anita went to Myerton to get Richard out of jail, Jean-Claude had Asher come with her. He was the one to initially try to negotiate entrance into Colin's territory.



* Because of Anita's marks with Jean-Claude, she has his memories of Asher so the two of them have a bond as well.



* Currently, Asher is in consultation with a plastic surgeon to see if his scarring can be fixed or not.



* Asher has the ability to use his laughter to touch from a distance, like Jean-Claude.



* In the past, Jean-Claude used to call Asher 'mon chardonneret' which means, my goldfinch.

Description Very Mexican in appearance, he is six feet tall, with dark brown skin and thick, short, black hair. There is a burn scar on his left forearm, a four pointed crown, which indicates his status as king.

Commentary * Because Nikolaos' animal to call is the rat, she also has control over Rafael and his subjects. However, since he is an alpha male, he is strong enough to prevent her from calling them.



* When Marcus was trying to consolidate all the lycanthropes under one rule, Rafael was in that meeting. In addition, when the time came for someone to stand up for Anita, he was the first one to do so.



* When Jason came in, reacting to the blood of the newly killed Alfred, and tried to maul Anita, Rafael distracted him with his own blood, thus offering the blood of an alpha to the newest lycanthrope and keeping him away from Anita.



* Rafael has always supported Anita, but he made it official during a lycanthrope meeting. Richard forbade Sylvie to make Anita into a were. But he would not kill to protect her. Rafael offered to kill in order to protect Anita.



* When the vampire council came to visit Jean-Claude, Padma called the lycanthropes to him. Rafael came in lieu of his rats and kept them safe, as did Sylvie for the wolves, since Richard was out of town. Rafael's back was skinned by Padma.

Description Pure brown eyes, so dark nearly black, are set in a square face. His body is slender and small and he only stands about 5' 6". His hair is black, straight and baby-fine, growing a little below his shoulders, although recently, he had it cut to just at his ears.

Commentary * Louis is one of Rafael's lieutenants, but he is also Richard's best friend.



* He is a professor of biology at Wash U, where they are not aware of his lycanthropy.



* When Anita was attacked by Gretchen, he came to Anita's rescue by slamming into the vampire. He ended up being beaten severely and later she had to call Richard for help.



* He was almost killed by Elvira Drew and her witches for his rat skin. He was drugged and tied up in the basement. Thanks to Anita's quick thinking, he was spared.



* Currently, he is dating Anita's best friend, Ronnie.



* He comes and supports Anita when she goes to Richard to get Gregory back. He reminds the gathering that she saved Rafael when Nikolaos had broken him, and in turn, saved the rodere as well.

Description Zane was about 6 foot and stretched thin and tall. His hair is cotton white at first, then dyed a shocking yellow (neon buttercups) and now, it's an iridescent pale green. It's cut short on the sides with the top long in moussed spikes. His eyes are brown.

Commentary * Zane tried to be the leader of the wereleopards after Gabriel, but was unable because he wasn't as strong enough an alpha to do so. So instead, he forced Anita to take over by trying to kidnap Nathaniel from the hospital.

* Zane has a silver nipple ring.



* He has a gravelly deep voice and dainty upper and lower fangs in his mouth, indicating that he has spent too much time in his wereleopard form.



* When Jason accuses him of being bisexual, he doesn't argue it, since he just gave Jason a big kiss on his lips in play.



* Before he became pard, Zane was a junkie, so in a sense Gabriel and Elizabeth saved him because he did not allow drugs.



* Zane had his arm shot with a rifle by Terry Fletcher and if he were human, he would have lost his arm. However, Anita healed him along with the other injured.



* Zane and Cherry were once lovers, but as of BO, they weren't any longer.



* Because of Raina and Gabriel, he and the other wereleopards are trained "bottoms". They are the submissive partner in a dominant-submissive interaction.

Commentary * Nathaniel is a stripper at Guilty Pleasures.

* When Gabriel was alive, he used to pimp Nathaniel out because the young man was a perfect submissive. Being a lycanthrope, he could take large amounts of pain, and he tended not to fight back, even when he was being hurt very badly.



* Nathaniel is incapable of living on his own because he has been trained to be so dependant. So Anita is paying for his apartment so that he doesn't have to turn tricks anymore to make ends meet. He isn't good with money.



* Nathaniel is the youngest in Anita's pard, only about nineteen at the start of BM.



* Sometimes he wears a silver clasp in his hair, allowing it to rest against his neck because he enjoys the burning pain.



* Nathaniel is a pomme de sang.



* When they were in Myerton, Nathaniel went off with Mira because she was going to be a top for him. However, she betrayed him and he was poisoned by Colin's vampires instead. Anita had to use Asher and Damian to heal him, almost losing Damian as well.

* Anita allows Nathaniel to go to dominance and submissions clubs only if he's accompanied by Elizabeth and another wereleopard, but she abandons him and he, along with Gregory are captured.

* He was prevented from leaving the Circus when the council horribly broke both his legs. They had to be re-broken when he was rescued so that they could heal properly.



* Gregory was responsible for Nathaniel's safety, but was overpowered and captured by Marco and his cronies.



* Before Anita rescues him, his groin is completely shredded. He shifts into half-leopard, half-man in order to heal himself.



* Although he was protecting Anita from an attack by Coronus his claws injure her and potentially infects her with wereleopard lycanthropy. Later, she realizes that it was a mistake, knowing that he's not dominant enough to make such a decision, but Richard doesn't feel the same way.



* He is declared a killer by the Thronnos Rokke Clan because by making Anita a possible wereleopard, he has killed her as lupa.



* He is captured by Richard and the pack and thrown into an Oubliette. There, he was hogtied with silver chains, drugged through silver needles with enough sedatives to keep him from changing but not enough to dull sensation, and kept inside for three days. His ears were also plugged with black plugs, tipped in silver, and his eardrums burst as a result.

* Cherry is a nurse. When she is in "nurse mode" it is like she is a different person. She doesn't act like a "monster" when she is needed to help save a life.



* She has a tendency to dress very slutty. She generally goes topless beneath her fishnet top, but wears a bra when she is around Anita.



* Cherry had lost her leg in a hit-and-run accident and Gabriel offered to give it back by making her a lycanthrope.



* Because of Raina and Gabriel, she and the other wereleopards are trained "bottoms". They are the submissive partner in a dominant-submissive interaction.

Commentary * Stephen is twin brothers with Gregory.

* When Shahar lost control of her cobra, he helped in the fight to kill it by shifting into werewolf form. He also shifted back into a human in less than 2 hours, and the resulting strain on his system put him out to sleep for the entire night.



* Because Jean-Claude's animal to call is the werewolf, he is one of the master vampire's "workers". Currently, he works at Guilty Pleasures as a stripper.



* When Louie and Anita were attacked by Gretchen, he was brought by Richard to help both of them to safety and medical attention.



* Stephen' s twin brother, Gregory, is a wereleopard. Stephen was forced by Raina and Gabriel to participate in pornographic videos. Gregory tried to "keep it safe" for Stephen, but Anita and Richard ended up saving his life.



* Stephen is the first man that Anita has slept with until the morning. But no sex. ^.^ He could not sleep at Richard's house and Anita protected him like a lupa. Apparently, he has had some sort of abuse when he was younger.



* For a werewolf, Stephen doesn't seem to like blood too much, although when Anita made the blood cocktail from Jean-Claude, Richard and her blood, he asked for Jason, who was in wolf form, if they could lick the bowl when it was finished..

Description No more than twenty years old, his eyes are very blue, often described as the blue skies of a spring morning. He also has blonde hair. He is exactly Anita's height, 5' 3", which makes him very short as a man.

Commentary * Jason was infected with lycanthropy by Raina when she nearly killed him after having sex.



* Currently, Jason serves Jean-Claude as companion and "breakfast snack."



* Jason first met Anita when he was a new wolf, trying not to be affected by the blood Alfred whom she had just shot. Later, he was placed in the same cage as her by Kaspar and Titus. He nearly rapes Anita, but is prevented by Richard's order not to.



* He is very much a tease and flirt, wanting to bed Anita, but fearing Jean-Claude's wrath if he even attempts it.



* In BB, Jason challenges Anita, though she doesn't know it at the time. When she points her gun at him and tells him to back off or she will shoot, he does, and thus declares her dominance over him.



* Jason is scared to death of rotting vampires. When he was ordered to have sex with Bettina and Pallas, they proceeded to rot all over his body, which sent him into a frenzy. It has since become a phobia for him. Yvette uses this against him when Anita and crew come up against the vampire council.



* In KD, Jason is twenty years old, and identified as a former college student.



* In BM, Jason turns 21, declares he is a Gemini, and also that he is now legal for everything, which in Anita's opinion doesn't account for much, considering he has been hanging out with Jean-Claude since then.

* Jason admits that his mother is "decorous" and also admits preferring to read, joking that his last roommate owned a word-a-day calendar.

When Anita asks if he is gay or bisexual, Jason admits that he might be the later if the blood-letting is to be considered sex. He stays because the vampires roll his mind, bringing him much pleasure.



* When Jason was beaten very badly by Mel Cooper's brother, Chuck, and Terry Fletcher, he begged Anita to lick the blood from her body in order to heal faster. She allowed it, but also eventually healed him using Raina's munin.



* Although still a smart ass, Jason has also gotten very good with "pep" talks. After Anita tortured and then killed

Deputy Thompson, he was the one to assure her of the rightness of it.



* In NiC, Jason has cut his long, baby-fine hair, so that it is businessman short. He was nineteen when he first met Anita, but now, he's twenty-two and he's perilously close to being handsome. ^.^



* Jason has gotten more discerning when it comes to relationships. Although he is still at the Circus of the Damned, he doesn't like to sleep with all the women who come there anymore.



* At one point, Anita bit a chunk of flesh out of his neck in order to draw enough blood to fend off a psychic attack by Belle Morte.



* When Richard was not present, Jason was able to be used as a conduit for his power for the triumvirate. However, he was channeling Richard's power and was not a replacement for Richard in the tri.

Description Well built without being bulky, Richard has soft brown hair that falls to his shoulders. His face is very strong, with high cheekbones, square jaw and soft lips. He is about 6'1".

Commentary * When Anita first met him, Richard was in bed, naked.

* His upper chest is smooth with no chest hair, which Anita approves of. ^.^



* He has a degree in preternatural biology which, at first, explains why he knows so much about werewolves. However, he himself is a werewolf as well, even though Anita was unable to detect it.



* Richard teaches science at a Seckman Junior High School.



* In CD, Jean-Claude orchestrates their meeting, but because he can sense that Anita likes Richard and so forbids the werewolf from revealing his lycanthropy to her. Richard is "on loan" to the vampire by Marcus, his leader. Richard was currently next in line for leadership in his pack.



* Anita's first date with Richard was supposed to spelunking, but it got changed to Catherine's Halloween party and then got postponed altogether when Anita was bitten by the Raju and nearly died.



* After the battle with Oliver, Richard is forced to admit to Anita that he is a lycanthrope. He had become one when he was given a bad batch of lycanthropy serum.



* For Christmas in LuC, Richard gave Anita a stuffed toy penguin that played, 'Winter Wonderland', a bag of black and white gummy penguins, and a velvet jeweler's box with a written note inside it: "Promises to Keep."



* He is part of a triumvirate, including both Anita and Jean-Claude. At Christmas time, they discovered their link to each other. Jean-Claude's power and Richard's power rushed through Anita, who acted as a focus. Richard's power is like warm electricity.



* Richard and Anita share a love for musicals. They not only attend live performances, but also watch videotapes at home with each other, usually on a Sunday afternoon.



* Because he is an alpha werewolf, he can meet Jean-Claude's eyes and not be swayed by the vampire.



* When Richard meets Mrs. Pringle, she approves of him wholeheartedly. However, her dog Custard thinks he should be the dominant one - until Richard stares at him and makes the dog think twice about such a thought.



* Richard refers to himself as beta male (LuC-136) since he hasn't killed Marcus and taken over leadership as Ulfric.



* Richard is Episcopalian, just like Anita.



* When Richard was nineteen and new to the pack, he had sex with Raina because he thought it was the way things happened. She is allowed free pick of the new males in the pack for her pleasures. Richard wants to stop that practice.



* Because he is an alpha, Richard is able to control his beast and hold off from shifting into wolf form until the last possible minute. When he shifts, he carries other lycanthropes with him as well. As an alpha, his dominance is complete over lesser wolves. When Jason was not able to control himself around Anita because he was changing, Richard's voice alone made him stop.



* Richard has one major failing - he doesn't like coffee.



* At the beginning of BM, Richard has been arrested for the rape of Betty Schaffer. His younger brother Daniel calls Anita to tell her and they both agree that it would be more likely he would be in jail for murder and not for rape. Even Jean-Claude agrees.



* When Anita chose Jean-Claude, Richard began sleeping around with other women, which is why he was accused of rape. He dated a human against Jamil's better judgment



* Richard has been dating many women, including Lucy, Mira, Carrie, and Millie. When Anita springs him from jail, she almost walks in on him and Lucy when they return to the cabins.

* While channeling Raina, Anita inadvertently declares herself Frejya and runs away from Richard while the other werewolves chase after her for the chance to mate with her. Eventually, Richard catches up and they consummate their passions for each other.



* After Anita and Richard make love, Anita notices that the marks between them are stronger and Richard admits that Jean-Claude thought that this might happen between them, which of course, annoys Anita.



* When Anita reached out at one point to touch Richard, their auras converged and became one. Howard was able to see this.



* After Anita heals Nathaniel, Richard declares that he has found his lupa and swears not to "audition" any other women.



* When she is attacked by the snake lycanthropes, Gregory comes to her aid, but "inadvertently" uses his claws on her, There is the possibility she will be a true Nimir-Ra by the next full moon. But she appears dead and Jean-Claude is arrested for her murder and Richard takes Gregory because he "killed" their lupa.



* Richard's hold over his pack has weakened because he allows things to be "voted" on, thus minimizing his control over them.



* Anita is actually able to touch Richard's beast with her own, even though his is lupine and hers is feline.



* When Anita discovers that Richard had Gregory put in the oubliette, she punches his face and does some serious damage.



* Raina had a nickname for Richard - honey wolf. When Richard shifted, his fur was a ginger, honey color.



* Richard usually never curses, but when Jacob steps out of line, he tells him to "shut the fuck up." And then, when he comments again, Richard punches his face in.



* Raina used to be the only one who could touch his beast with her own. But when Anita becomes a full Nimir-Ra, she can touch him as well. Richard brings Anita to an orgasm, using only their beasts.



* When Anita fed off of Richard, using the arduer, Richard freaked out and abandoned Anita, refusing to be with her anymore because he insisted that no one would ever feed off of him.



* Because Richard was so depressed with his situation, he didn't fight a werehyena when the creature tried to kill him. Shang-Da had to rescue him, and later, Anita pulled out Chimera's life force in order to heal him. Richard's eyes ended up being black with a sea of stars inside them, just like Anita's.

Description Dark blue eyes with long, perfectly black hair. He stands just shy of six feet tall at 5' 11" and is the epitome of the sexy vampire.

Commentary * Jean-Claude's self-proclaimed age is about 205 years old in GP.

* His nickname for Anita is ma petite, much to her chagrin.



* He is a master vampire, and as such, has the ability to call an animal. His animal to call is the wolf, and as a result, he also can control werewolves to a certain degree.



* Jean-Claude also has the additional ability to feed off of sexual energy. He is from Belle Morte's line (Beautiful Death) of the Vampire Council. She created a 'race' of vampires that were stunningly beautiful and often used sex as a means of gaining power.



* Jean-Claude is also able to touch a person with his laughter.



* He has a dark colored cross-shaped scar on his chest.



* Because he hid his powers when Nikolaos was the Master of the City, many vampires think that Jean-Claude is not powerful enough to hold the city. It also doesn't help that at first, Anita refuses to be acknowledged as his human servant.



* Jean-Claude was the one to introduce Richard to Anita, and is jealous when she starts to like him. But he wonders, "Do you lust after Richard because he's handsomer, or because he's human?"



* He is very calculating in his dealings with Anita, and it's never really certain whether he has Anita's best interest at heart, his own interest, or a combination of the two.

* Jean-Claude knew not to give Anita the first mark again when she was hurt, even though Richard encouraged him to do so. However, Richard accepted the first mark for himself so that their initial triumverate could be in contact when Richard and Anita went to the Lupanar.



* After the Lupanar, Jean-Claude was the one to comfort Anita and was the first to sleep with her. *.*



* Dominic chained Jean-Claude using a cross to keep him subdued with Richard. Still, he managed to give Anita two marks so that she could escape Raina and Gabriel. When she managed to free them, he protected her because Richard would kill them both with his death if he did not. Anita refused this option and demanded that he save them both. Jean-Claude had to give her the third mark in order for him to save Richard, who had had a sword thrust through his chest.



* Jean-Claude gave Anita a black satin nightie. The night she wore it, he was able to invade her dreams until the phone rang, waking her up.



* When Anita goes to Myerton, TN to "rescue" Richard, Jean-Claude makes her take werewolves, wereleopards and other vampires because he wants her safe and he cannot go there himself, thanks to Colin. He also informed all of them that if Anita is killed, he will have all of them killed.



* Because of the marks, Jean-Claude is able to give Anita memories of Asher and she ends up feeling more comfortable around him because of it.
