Finally planted a tri date palm tree next to the boulder I had delivered. So far it’s holding well considering I left the poor thing in the hot car too long. Decided to leave the brown fonds along until next week. Less stress on the tree the better. Front stone edging is down. I’ll be working the side next, then level both sides at the same time. Changed my mind on the river pebbles and now going for the Cyprus mulch instead. It’ll be cheaper, lighter to handle, and easier to weed. I bought a two foot pvc pipe and cut it in three equal pieces, then spray painted them. Once I slipped them over the wooden stakes, they’re perfect for protecting shrubs from the garden hose. Will aim to finish edging this week if I can get down to ground level. Fell flat on my back on concrete a couple of months ago so…. It wouldn’t be fun getting down there. I don’t do can't so it’ll will happen.

Since it’s so hot here, I moved all my tool batteries inside from the garage. Which meant hanging cabinets in the laundry room. With the help of a 2x2 nailed in the wall studs, I was able to manage it by myself. Since I hung two cabinets, I stacked all my house paint in the second cabinet. Me 😊. And on a side note, I’m writing again. First fifty pages finished and plot all figured out. 😎
