Not fun exercise in self sufficiency.

We did not do grocery shopping this weekend, so we are making do with what we have.
Additionally, daughter did not call to see if we needed anything.
No snacks in the house to speak of, and only fruits that the little kid doesn't like. The fridge is straining in the heat too, so we lost an entire gallon of milk.
I am baking bread in this heat. We have food but everything has to be prepared.
Luckily, the little kid isn't a jerk or this would be miserable.
