What am I doing on this site?



In a word, seeking. Seeking knowledge---about vampires, obviously. But also about how others who share my beliefs, or at least some of them, view the world. Knowledge about the world that exists outside my own limited set of experiences. I have learned much already. I have learned that there are psy vampires and elemental vampires, although I've not yet learned what they are. I've been introduced to new authors and new movies and new artists and new music, even though they are apparently only new to me, since I see many of the same names on different profiles. I'm seeking answers---to questions I've had for so long I can't remember NOT having them. DO actual, supernatural (or preternatural, as the case mmay be) superhuman vampires exist? If so, what do they look like? What are their strengths? What are their weaknesses? Are they purely evil? Or are they, like we humans, a mixture of good and evil? I also have the same questions about werewolves and other supernatural creatures. Faeries? Gnomes? Elves? Leprechauns? How do we know they don't exist? How do we know they do? What about paranormal human "gifts" or abilities, like telepathy, telekinesis, astral projection, being an empath? Are premonitions for real? I suppose, in simplest terms, I am seeking to learn anything I do not know. And maybe along the way, I will learn new things about the things I think I already know.



Enough rambling for one day. I'm starting to confuse myself, even.
