Tender is the heart...

Have you ever had to choose between doing what you know in your heart is the "right" thing, or going against your gut instinct and giving something a chance, even though you truly believe it's doomed to fail?

The proverbial "rock and a hard place" scenario.

Regardless of what I ultimately decide to do in this situation, it's going to cause some serious problems... and possibly even bring about a tragic result.

I never thought that my actions of years ago would come back to affect my life - and that of someone else - in such a way. Not that I would've done anything differently then... I have no regrets. I just wish there was a simple solution to the dilemma I'm faced with now.

So often our solutions look like a no-win situation.

Sometimes we just have to do the best we can and keep reminding ourselves in the end, everything will indeed be fine.
