There is a rose as dark as pain
There is a rose that knows no rain
It's thorns a menacing blackened stain
It's petals a soft and saddened grain
There is a rose that smells of tears
There is a rose that beautifies your fears
It's vine comes from a heart so dark
It's life comes from a mind of lack
I know this rose far to well
I know it and it's secrets I tell
I share it's beauty and it's pain.
I embellish it with my tears like rain
