I made it halfway through before I had to check if I was reading a journal or an audition for The Last Honest Man on Earth. According to you, you're the only one who cares. The only one who notices. The only one who defends people. The only one brave enough to speak the truth. The moderators are against you. The members are against you. The cliques are against you. The snakes are against you. Hell, I'm surprised gravity hasn't joined the conspiracy.

Here's a wild thought... maybe - just maybe - you're not the main character. I know, crazy concept.

You keep hiding behind the line, "I'm just honest." Cool. Every obnoxious asshole on the internet says the exact same thing five minutes before everyone gets tired of listening to them. Being abrasive doesn't magically become a virtue because you slapped the word honest on it. That's like calling yourself humble every other sentence and expecting people to applaud.

Then comes the martyr routine. You'll stand alone. You'll keep speaking. You'll defend everyone. Relax, Batman. This is Vampire Rave, not Normandy. You're acting like you're taking bullets for freedom when, in reality, you're arguing in a comments section over imaginary internet drama.

My favorite part, though, was your little "You opened the door" speech. Damn right they did. Which means you opened yours too. Funny how public journals are fair game when you're the one commenting on everyone else's, but the second someone reads yours and says, "This is the most self-important thing I've seen all week," suddenly they're the problem. That's not how it works. Public goes both ways. Your opinions aren't special just because they're yours.

And the snakes... Sweet baby Jesus, the snakes. Every other paragraph it's snakes, bullies, whispers, invisible rules, secret hierarchies, moderators, backstabbers. Brother, if you told me the Illuminati had infiltrated Vampire Rave just to downvote your comments, I wouldn't believe it... but I'd absolutely believe that you believe it.

The funniest part is watching you accuse everyone else of wanting an echo chamber while writing an entire autobiography explaining why every single person who disagrees with you is either a coward, a bully, a snake, a liar, or secretly plotting against you. Not once - not one fucking time - does it occur to you that maybe people simply don't enjoy interacting with someone who treats every disagreement like they're starring in the final act of a superhero movie.

Normal people hit the same wall a few times and eventually ask themselves if they're doing something wrong. You just keep writing new chapters of Everyone Else Is The Problem. Honestly, I'm looking forward to the sequel. Maybe next time the moon will be in on it too.

But since you seem so passionate about reminding everyone that posting publicly means accepting criticism, I'll leave you with your own advice. You opened the door.
