The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

This is only my 2nd journal entry. I thought I might make some of my feelings on vampires clear.



I believe in vampires. I believe they exist. I believe they exist in folklore, fantasy and psychological conditions. And as there is nothing so real as that which the mind would have you believe, then sure they exist.



The vampire story has stood the test of time and as almost as long as there have been human beings there have been storys of vampires in one form or another. The early storys of vampires were cautionary tales told to inspire fear, to warn people of danger after sunset and what terrible transformations in people the night may bring.



The storys captured peoples imaginations, struck fear in their hearts and once the vampire legend had a place within the hearts and minds of people it grew and developed through the years along side us.



Then at some point the storys began to change. Although people were scared of vampires, they began to imagine what it must feel like to BE vampires. And this is a testament to the darkness that lives in peoples hearts that has always lived in peoples hearts and prevails throughout the ages.



And its easy to understand why.



People want to live forever, have a thirst for power and feel a lust for other people. The vampire is immortal, powerful and a slave to lust. if you could endure the pain, let go of your life and die, you could be immortal, you could be powerful and pay for it with with your lust.



Its a beautiful dark fantasy, one I've had many times throughout my life in the form of nightmares when I was younger, wonderful lucid dreams I was in control of in my teenz, and in survival horror scenarios, which I still love in dreams, movies and videogames today.

Vampires are more than mere lore. A lot of the lore is very much over exaggerated. Probably because of some sort of physical condition in which a person seemed to be dead at first want just was starved enough to want to eat someone? (probably more probable than another theory of them being immortal, which I do not think is possible physically.)



There are people in which who feed from energy or even from blood but it's not the blood its self, it's the energy within the blood that they're after. These individuals, they tend to have to have it. Without it, they either become weak, or sick. Their body has some sort of energy deficiency which at this time is unexplainable by science. Many people have the capability to feed off of energy, but many I am sure is by choice. For the select few who are vampire..they do not have a choice, it's either feed or get sick. That is my conclusion after the many years I have studied the people in which I have spoken to.



It's all quite interesting. :)

omg i thought i would never meet someone who has the same views i do i also believe they exist in each and every way i have studied them for many years and had breaks but they do fasinate me very much in each and every way and i have also had dreams many but i will share within time and only if you ask lol
