Life is filled with opportunities to shine. I had the pleasure of pushing the car that stalled in front of me out-of-the-way and helping this very kind person. Don't let your opportunities to shine pass you by!

1. Things happen for a reason. We might not understand that reason at the time, but after time passes, we seem to.



2. Love is putting the other person first.



3. I have taken up surfing again; thinking about taking up snowboarding again.



4. Nothing wrong with being a homebody as long as there's balance.



5. I still believe in a storybook romance.



6. The smallest things in life are often the ones that make us the most happiest.



7. Connecting without verbal communication is amazing; sometimes just a mutual look in each other's eyes and you know that no words are necessary.



8. Crying or feeling lost are not signs of weakness, but necessary to becoming stronger.



9. Everything is temporary and everything changes. Have an "attitude of gratitude" and enjoy the moment.



10. Sometimes the thing you're searching for is right in front of you.
