My aunt died early this morning in her sleep of a heart attack. Here she had been doing better from the cancerous tumor sugery in her throat and she was not so depressed...and now she's gone....
Here's to you, Aunt MaryArline....
What would you do to prepare for a long day at a major amusement park when it is summer time, and especially when there is a heat wave in progress?
Would you bring a hat, umbrella, lots of sunscreen, a few bottles for water that you can refill at a nice, cool water fountain if you do not wish to purchase more throughout the day? Bring small salty snacks and such???
Why is it that thousands of people do NOT do this??? Run around without breakfast or skip lunch, drink soda instead of water...don't cover themselves, and wonder why they drop like flies and we get to take care of them? Hello, we're not talking rocket science here!
If it's over 100 outside, prepare for it!!! Or... gee, the idea of go to a water park, or a movie or hang out and go inside the park a bit later in the day! We're continually amazed at the stupidity of people...especially from the midwest, or south or well, just about anywhere that gets rather HOT in the summer time! Just insane!
Not to mention if they're staying for a few days, we'll get calls for bad sunburn and stomach issues and other problems like I need a bandaid, you come give me one for free - oh good grief..... whenever you travel, take a box of friggin bandaids and stuff...and why would you wear new shoes for the first time running around a theme park and not think of a bandaid or socks to begin with????????
Love the calls for ice packs when the person is in a hotel room - you want ice? walk down the hall to the ice machine and help yourself!!!
Come and play with us in 90 + heat a day after you get a 2 pint blood transfusion, now that makes a ton of sense!
