No artificial lights. The cell off. All digital devices off. No contact with the world. Hold the intent. Light three safety light candles. You're going to need them. One near the water. Place the others here...and there. Pace. Think. Intent. Cover ground. Be silent. Focus on that and only that...till 3:33am.

Walk.
Walk to the bath. Cold water. Ice water. Get in. Panic. Control the shivers. Let it violently caress you. Let it shock you. Get through it.
Feel yourself almost slip away. Feel the air leave. Control it. DO NOT LEAVE THAT WATER until you are numb.
