The Vampire Bride
By the light of the Moon, he entered my room....
My first gaze upon his pale, gaunt face sealed my doom....
Towards my bed this shadowy figure crept, from my bed I leapt.
I tried to run from this tall handsome stranger, fully aware of my soul's mortal danger.
With a smile on his face, his hand I did take, the life I knew, I soon would forsake.
It was on my life's blood he did feed, to fight, there was no need.
No use to fuss or plead, he had come to me on this night, to do his deed.
With one immortal kiss, I now walk with him hand in hand, across fields and valleys of this great land.
It was not out blood lust that night he come but for the need for us to be one.
To this day, I still gaze upon his grin white and wide, one of joy and full of pride, that he so often flashes since that fateful night.....
The night he made me his Bride.
