On a cold Winter's night a Slayer was born, to rid the world of those hated and scorned. Vampires all over the world heard his first cry, on that very night, they vowed he must die. The Dragon Princess watched as the little boy grew, there was something very special about him, this she knew. At any time he could have died by her hand but that was something even her cold ancient heart could not stand or do. She vowed to protect him and keep him from harm, somehow, she was captivated by his charm. In time, the boy became a man, feared and hated throughout the land, for it has been told that many a Vampire died at his hand. The day had finally come, for the deed would be done and the Princess came face to face with the once child, this man had replaced. Brave and strong he had grown and it was then she admitted what she had always known. She loved the child that is now this man so, out to him she reached with her cold, dead hand. Much to her surprise, she too, had caught his deadly eye. In those dark beautiful eyes, she did see, the true love that was destined to be. Her hand he did take, not a moment would he hesitate.... Oh, the sweet love they did make. At that moment a vow was made, two hearts joined as one, never to forsake. Never would they allow anyone, their love to take. To each other, their hearts now belonged, their love growing ever so strong with each passing day.... Come what may, in each others arms, they will forever stay. Her mind often wonders back to the day, when the predator fell completely in love with her prey. She still deeply loves him to this very day. Did she make him a Vampire? That she will not convey. Suffice only to say.......Maybe, later......On another day. But for now, this is the story of the Vampire and the Slayer, she did not slay. But alas, the Vampire the Slayer could not tame the Vampire and they parted ways. She let him part with his life, grief and strife with a soft whisper, ''Forget I was ever your wife.''*Grins and bares her fangs.* The End.....Or is it?

Well, Beau.....*Smirks.* The 'Slayer' and my story? It seem our relationship was not entirely... successful. After the Slayer pestering me for five long years to be his partner, it lasted only a few weeks. Not surprising, though - a lesson well learned.*Grins widely.* Stay with your own kind. He was finally given a chance and allowed his childish tantrum throwing ways to blow it. Although, he continues to open and close accounts, each request for ''another chance'' is met with a stern....''No.'' So, depending on one's perspective - it was a 'Happy Ending' after all. Not a 'Happily Ever After'.....~Mina
