I hate mornings.......let me repeat.....I HATE MORNINGS....now let me also add that I am on vacation. With that said.....let me tell you a true story.



I had trouble sleeping last night. Every hour I was awake and aching (the bed is sooooo not a pillow top) or going to the bathroom (this happens anytime I wake up). So I saw 1, 2, 3:30, and again at 4:30. Well at 4:30 the person I am on vacation with decided she was thirsty so I hear her rumaging in the fridge and so I roll over and say, "what are you doing?" "I'm thirsty" and then a pop being loudly opened and then I swear she chugged it......LOUDLY ...followed by a huge belch. Then trundled back to bed, set the alarm for 6 A FREAKING M (she has this thing about wanting to watch the sunrise) and was asleep in less than 3 minutes while I tossed and turned

for what felt like forever.

Finally go to sleep and the alarm goes off....I actually do not wake completely up and manage to drift back to sleep to hear .."sis...sis........SIS..where is your camera?" Well one I have to wake up enough to respond and two to actually THINK as to where it is. "In my purse"....the sounds of a huge rat rumaging through my purse.....

"No it's not"

"yes it is"

"well.....light"

NOT the light in the bathroom or even across the room ....no......the light right in my eyes by my bed. Then more rumaging noises.

I roll over and try my best to find a comfortable position thinking she was leaving the room as has been her norm.

NOOOOOOOOO she decided to stay in the room and just go in and out of the balcony door to take the pictures. So, I hear things being moved so she can set by the window, then I hear the door open and close a couple of times

(which is a loud sound as the door sticks), then she sets down directly in front of my face by the window. NOW WHO could go back to sleep with that going on?

So....I get up. "Sis, just roll over and go back to sleep." Yeah...right......

Did I say I hate mornings???



Note I am on vacation with vampirewitch39 and this is the 4th darn sunrise in a 4 morning vacation I have been awake for becuase of her.

I ask again....did I say I hate mornings???????

I suppose I tell you how much VW Hates to have her picture taken....heheheheheh (evil laugh here)

You know if you read VampireWitch39's journal you will see several reference in there to me. I have decided the best way to deal with her repeated ignoring of my pleas to leave me out of her journal is to suck it up and join in and write about her as well. You see..there are three of us who are best friends in real life. Can you guess who the third is????? Anway.....I have been teasing VW (yes she hates that....says it makes her think of a volkswagon....so....VW...VW...VW!) Teasing,...yes...telling her that I will soon get my revenge.... and I will eventually. But ....it starts today. Since revenge is a dish best served cold ( or so they say, thus I have planned this for a while) and because I am on vacation with her.....yeah figure THAT one out....here goes.....



VW (yeah had to once more) I want to tell you that I think that your journal is one of the funniest things about VR. I enjoy reading what you write a lot on the personal level. I do not read the sex stories just becuase..well....ewww...I know YOU wrote them. (Same goes for the other gal in the threesome !)

I also want you to know that meeting you all those years ago has been one of the better things in my life to occur. I value our friendship more than I can find words for. I will also tell you that sometimes you get me madder quicker than anyone (well other than Donna) I know. I think it is becuase we are so much alike. And it is the differences that keep the relationship together and working. Thank you for being my friend.



Not a bad revenge, eh? But then I am from the South, where my Momma taught me to say something nice or nothing at all. But if you must say something less than nice, do so with a smile and do it quick and then get out before they realize what hit them.



Hugs to you Miss Kay...the VW on this vacation. And no more waking me up before sunrise or I am going to kick your a** (said with a gracious smile).....Bye now....:)

Sunlight glinting on water that look like sparks from diamonds.

Waves crashing on the ocean leaving some of the ocean treasures on the hard packed smooth sand.

The miles of sand and shore dotted occasionally by people of all shapes and sizes in all kinds of layers or unlayers of clothes.

A level, endless horizon where slate gray meets blue.

Seagulls soaring on the winds, letting the currents take them ever higher.

The constant dull roar of the waves crashing in on themselves and moving into shore.

The wind rustling the palm leaves and whipping around the corners of the building.

The warmth of the sun on faces and feet and points in between.

Shells on the shoreline, the ocean's tresures offered to those who would gather them.



And when I see, I feel peace, calmess, a gladness for being AWAY.

New Year's weekend was good....it started out a little wobbly with me being sick and on meds. Turns out the BF was sick too. Shared my antibiotics with him over the weekend...he got better and I am still on them.Figures. But we got well enough to ring in the new year with some good hot buttered rum and a bit of good loving as well. :)



Now am planning for an actual vacation. Although not a great deal of planning ....just sort of picking a spot and heading in that direction. I am both dreading and looking forward to it. Dreading the long time in the car and the hard motel beds and spening a lot of money. Looking forward to being away and in seeing the ocean, smelling the sea air and hearing the seagulls overhead.



Hmmm so much to do before Friday morning. What am I doing on here???? lol.
