It has been a rough time the last few months. I am still having issues with grief being so overwhelming at times. But then, I get a call, a text, a drop in on Alexa and I remember that I am NOT alone in this. Yes, I am married but he doesn't understand the connection I had or the culture. The Southern saying applies, "Bless his heart, he tries".

So, I want to take this opportunity and tell you that friends, true friends, are worth more than any material item on earth. I am lucky to have some of them.....two stand out over the last few months. One is not on VR, the other is.

The one not on VR, is a whirlwind that takes control and leaves a wide path of.....something....every time she comes near. But, I know she has always had my best interests at heart. Even if it was not always what I wanted, but almost often what I needed.

The one on VR, is my soul sister. I am an only child and if I could have chosen, it would have been her. If either of us had been into women, we might be together, but we aren't. She knows me almost better than I know myself. She is amazing and I can never repay how much she has done for me.
