Running through the woods

Away from the shooter

Suddenly he's there

Waiting for my move.



I take a sharp turn to the right

He takes the shot

missing me by an inch

I won't lose him for long.



I hear him cursing under his breath

He doesn't realise that I can hear that

even though he knows what I am

He doesn't think I'm a full one yet.



I see him on my right

He pulls his gun out

and takes another shot

this time it hits.



Blood running down my neck

My vision starts to blure

No I won't let him finish me off

I keep on running tell I'm safely in city limites!



We both know that I have to eat

We both know this isn't over either

He'll get the chance another time

To Finish the job of killing me.
