Okay, you can all calm down now. I've found my chocolate whipped cream. Thank you all for your genuine support and concern, the crisis hit home hard and I couldn't have made it through without your kind shoulders and sincere words to salve the wound. Now,
Oh Roger Rabbit, will you marry me? I'll totally dye my hair and find that red dress (the boob job may take a couple years).
Yes, it is 18 minutes long. Yes, you should watch all of it.
I was sad for a second when a random add moved me from being Base Score: 66.5 Total Bonuses / Penalties: 6.65 and then I saw this:
Total Bonuses / Penalties: 6.66
I'm still waiting for the horns...
Whenever I choose a song on my Walkman after it ends and before the random shuffle begins the little beast plays the first song alphebetically in the queue. So I hear this song a lot. A LOT. That song right now is (Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay-Michael Bolton... I'm okay with this. It's so cheesetastic. Mr. Bolton is so passionate he'll make your panties drop-but only after you're safely in bed with someone else and the PPO has been filed. No you may NOT "touch me there[!]"
I have a week to learn my friends song and I just realized that there are 2 pages of lyrics. At least I have the riff down. He better freaking love me for this. That's what you get when your house gets broken into, 'Friday serenades you. It's a pretty sweet deal.
Just in case I lose the lyrics (by that I mean when I lose the lyrics):
I see you've got your ticket, Are you ready to go? "I'll shine with a passion Mom and Dad don't know." That precious baby child Grew a mind of his own. And now he's got this bright idea, He's gonna make it alone. Guitar around the shoulder With no tint of regret, Last trace of DNA left On the butt of a cigarette. No not, no speech, No number to reach. Every inch of his room Has been covered in bleach. There are holes in the walls Getting eaten away From the thick water stains By the downpour of rain That began to come down Upon that very day. And it never stopped. No, The rain still remains. And the clouds overhead, They've been crying for you. But it's all for the better now, Swallow the truth. Yeah, it hurts but for now It's all you can do To reason and To choke back The tears that he drew. He makes his reservation at a hotel. He doesn't know the area too well. Oh well, what the hell? You gotta learn from your mistakes 'Cause stupid doesn't sell. You need eyes in the back Of your head to excel. | But you're just a kid With a ticket and a dream. You don't know what it's like out there, The city is mean. Sex, drugs and money, Is that all that you need? Don't be so naive, Are you stupid? Can't you read? There's a sign on the door With big, fancy stenciling, "Speak to the secretary." Tried to get penciled in. But it's harder than that. Do you even have talent? And if you were suddenly famous Do you think you could handle it? Because the second you're known, You've got a price on your head. Everyone's placing bets On how you'll end up dead. It's a hard life to live, You should turn back instead. But you'll never listen, So keep walking ahead. 'Cause sooner or later, It's going to happen. You won't even expect it, It'll happen just like that. When they cover up your head With a black, drab graphic. You can think about your actions, Was your life worth Platinum status? And the chorus sings: Dada dada da da da da da da (x4) If you're gonna take off and Burn the bridges behind, You gotta stop in your tracks And look at what's inside Of your head and your heart. And if they agree, You can go try and be Another dead celebrity. |
