Even as their lives are torn apart by the unseen evils, they must show courage in the face not only of the enemy, but also of their own fears. These poor souls teeter on the brink of insanity, tortured by the horrors of the Ancients.

The Darkness Comes...

Since the beginning, the powerful human race have been tyrants of war and conquerors of land. However, they have been losing a war that has been raging in their backyard, a battle against global warming. As a result, the planet they live on has taken a serious beating. The humans have made pathetic attempts to heal the planet, they are unfit to build and breed on the planet any longer. To rid Earth of humanities’ geological footprint, they must sacrifice themselves to the sun.

Humanity has no respect towards the organisms that have come before them. The humans have destroyed animals’ homes and complain that the animals invaded “their” space. Frustrated, the humans have developed specialized weapons to kill these innocent creatures as a horrific game in which they call “the hunt”. The humans have hunted and killed animals to or near extinction. To provide for the humans greedy needs, they have cut down most of the beautiful rainforests for fuel and building material for the expanding race. They have used up most of Earth’s rare fossil fuels to power their luxury cars that thin the atmosphere. Robert Blanco, a civilized hermit, complains, “These damn humans shouldn’t toy with Mother Nature, always making babies they are, they’re like a virus!” Mr. Blanco has a bold and but accurate point. The human race is known to be extremely adaptable, it travels and multiplies within any environment, the only other organism that has a similar niche is a virus.

To heal planet Earth, the most logical way is to kill the humans. Like a bull in a China shop, humanity destroys everything they can get their childish hands on. Their urge to build an empire has strongly reduced the prosperity of the planet. With the absence of humans the planet can begin a long journey of recovery.

Small elite teams in NASA have been manufacturing a space ship to house people for one-way trips to the sun. This fully automated ship will be able to hold a few thousand humans at one time. Cryogenic pods will align the interior of the ship so the humans can stay in cryo-stasis while the ship travels through space. Once the ship is to the burn point (as NASA calls it) the humans will be awaken from cryo-stasis and herded into a room with a large window with a black screen. As the screen is slowly removed the suns rays will vaporize every organic inside. The humans will only feel a slight pain, like someone jabbing you with a hot butter knife, for a few seconds and then they will be tiny floating particles in the air. Celeste Leal, a NASA scientist, explains, “We had to give the ship a cheerful name, because some of humans may have mixed emotions about leaving their belongings behind, thus The Sunshine Express was born.” The Sunshine Express is an inviting name that even the most self-centered human cannot pass up.

The first to take a trip will be the young, they have not spent as much time on Earth and we would like to keep it that way. However, it would be pointless to put the newly born into cryo-stasis, so they will be put in a separate container where, once the ship passes Earth’s orbit, they will be dumped into space to freeze and eventually explode. Again, the pain will only last a few seconds. Since the young ones overrun the planet, the ship will have to make several trips. Within this time, as a precaution, the females and males will have to undergo surgery to have their ovaries and scrotums removed. This way the human population cannot spread anymore. After the young are gone, the females are next, as the expression goes “ladies first”. Lastly, the males. The old humans can stay, without other humans to wait on them hand and foot they will die soon anyways.

A small portion of Liberals believe that this method is cruel and that there are other alternatives then killing off the entire human race. They believe in reusable fuel sources like wind, wave, solar and nuclear power and the “reduce, reuse, and recycle” method. The Liberals continue to argue that using reusable sources can cause carbon emissions to drop in exponential numbers. They also claim the “reduce, reuse, and recycle” method can reduce the amount of waste the humans produce. For my rebuttal, I ask the Liberals why are they so selfish? Humanity has caused enough trauma to Earth as it is, do not let the planet suffer any longer with these ideas Liberals say “may” help.

Without the human race plaguing Earth, it can begin its years of healing. The abuse humanity has caused will slowly disappear; forests, animals, and oceans can then flourish like the vast planet it was before the humans inhabited it.
