What do they show...
A glimpse into my heart...
of which,
Love has ceased to flow...
A well that will soon dry,
Drained clean...
A diamond that shouldn't die...
No longer pristine...

Dreams in an eclipse...
All to be fulfilled,

The depth of my love...

Luscious color as that of dark red wine...
A whole world away,

My love tender to the touch,
It Just another means to your end
How much you really care isn't much
A waste of my heart as you pretend,
We think that we are meant for more
So we all fill ourselves with busy work
Thinking your path has more worth
All your beliefs, not coming forth
and crying inside that you're alone
Bleeding tears for the one to show
There is only one thing you need
but don't really want me as a companion
So you stifle your dreams till you can no longer feed
Settling for the mundane and not our beautiful union,
and there is simplicity in it's true form
to love another without those means,
all just things to most, like a statue of which you must adorn
when all it craves silently, is your gaze and attention

yet we drain it and then call it false...
Like a pebble thrown in a pond, watch those waters ripple,
that be the effect of your scoff and hate
The waves rush outwardly, no matter how much you pull
but, if you find that you wish to cede
