"Don't go." I beg.
I cry and I pleed.
I lower myself
as I get down on my knees.
The tears burn a path
on my pale skin
as I watch you all part,
My family, my kin!
"Please reconsider
this decision you make!"
I speak as I weep,
I quake as I break.
My heart shatters quickly
when your back turns to me.
"Its all lost?" I think,
"Is this all I will see
as you go away
to the darkness below?"
I lower my head
while all that I know
leaves me here in depression.
I know I can't cope
without my loved ones
or a sliver of hope.
