Saturni, Saturn, Terminus of all that was,
and all that will be.
Saturni, Saturn, Terminus of all that is.
Put a limit to matter,
A limit to energy.
Some limit to Effort.
And limit to Gain.
But, also a limit to Loss.
A limit to Grief.
A limit to Evil,
But a limit to Good, as well.
A stop to choice,
But also an ending to inevitability.
The Great Tester.
Examiner.
The executor of Karma.
The Solemn Grim Reaper.
Forever, impartial.
Coming, whenever: day or night.
But, always, forever coming.
I plunged so deep, I swam so far,
I dived where Darkness overshadowed Light
And Silence overcame Sound.
The Seas, so rough.
The Storm, so near.
But, in the depths, I felt no fear.
Reciting poems, I long forgot.
And humming tunes, I thought, I knew not.
Who here to be my witness, volunteers?
The confessional priest to all my doubts, grievances and inconsistencies?
What is the thing, I am searching for?!
Which strength, I need?
Or, maybe, be it cunning, I require?
A smile so fair, a laugh so loud.
A face, which stands out from the crowd.
I knew, right then and there: a gem in the rough, a gift.
Those eyes and dimples too.
A figure, one to glare at.
I knew, right then and there: to be, a connection, a bond.
But, will it last? or will it in the wind dissipate, with its back turned, will it walk away?
I knew, right then and there: foolish, those doubts, are surely, and for them, I should not bear a care.
Was there a depth, of which I was not aware, to this, a kismet, simple fated karma?!
I knew, right then and there: both in form and matter, right and true it was.
So, here it ends, and suddenly concludes, surely, nothing was said, but also too much.
