What is the meaning to live. Not the meaning of life. The meaning of life is a different matter with no real concrete answer. I ask what the meaning to live is. I have a theory that each living thing is a footprint of God, and when we die, it is God's footprint disapearing in the spiritual realm. Maybe we're spiritual place-holders to other beings, an insignificant cog in some great machine we'll never come to behold, nor comprehend. I wonder if all of existance is like a game played by higher powers, like a contest to see which God could create the better race. I wonder what our placement would be in such a game. Are they laughing at one of the Gods' failures, or are they amazed and in awe of our ability. I don't think I'll know in my lifetime. I realize that may be people reading this journal, and I'm aware that there are people who will question my opinion of man as a "great" race. I think it is not our judgement to determine what a good or bad race is. Because we don't know these things. We only know what is in our very small solar system, and a little bit outside. "Live in the present, for it is the only time that you know" And we know so little; for the future is only a guess, and a vague assumption, and the past is nothing but a distant, and faded memory. Even after a few seconds, we cannot come close to telling of the details that the past may hold. We know very little. I wonder how we can come so complacent. I think that we need as a race we get very complacent very easily. Nobody happens. It all is. I becomes reality to satisfy our physical mind. Reality is a drug, an addictive drug.
I've taken to noticing hipocracy more and more often. Now, no one's safe from being a hipocrite; but there seems to be an alarming amount of it in society today. I can't help but hit myself with a hose every time a 'wise', 'prophetical' person gets angry or impatient. Practice what you preach. Seriously, it ticks me off when someone who preaches quotes and the teachings of wise men and immediately forgets them when those teachings would apply to them. I think this is because of how lazy some people are. They are lazy because dwelling on a problem is SOOO much easier than fixing one.
