Most of you know that I have Multiple Sclerosis and that I struggle with dealing with the disease every day. MS affects your nerves and the most un-nerving (no pun intended) thing about MS, is it deadens your nerves.

So, since Saturday, I have been plagued with injuries. Some due to someone else's fault, some due to the MS, some due to just dumb luck.

Saturday, I went to get some bloodwork. Those of you, that have ever had bloodwork, you know that you are in the hands of the phleobotomist. Well this one, apparently totally forgot I was standing there, with a needle in my arm. She reached across herself, turning the needle in my arm. So, there is a wonderful half moon of bruising on my arm, that follows what she did with the needle. See below:

Strange thing....I didn't feel it, until about 10 minutes later.

Ok, onto the next. Forgetfulness is part of the disease and one of the more dangerous places for me to be with forgetfulness....is the kitchen. So, I was checking on dinner. I reached into a hot oven, to check. It wasn't until I almost grasped the pan, did I realize, I didn't have a potholder. But I pulled me hand back. It took about 30 seconds to realized, my hand had come in contact with one of the racks.

After I realized what I had done, (after the pain finally hit), I ran it under water, for about 5 minutes and then put some aloe on it.

Sunday, it was going to be a very hot day. So, LordV and I got down the fans. They were really dusty, so I unscrewed them to clean them. The back of my hand got scratched up a bit. Didn't notice until I saw the blood.

Yesterday, I took Maddie for a walk. I was about 3 minutes from home, when I heard....yes I mean I heard a "TWANG", as if a rubber band had let go. I stopped and waited, looking around. Then it hit. My leg basically crumbled and if I wasn't close to a wall, I would have fell.

The pain was in my Achilles tendon, the back of my left ankle. I limped my way home, got a ice pack and put my foot up. That is how LordV found me.

This morning, I took a shower and felt a burning on the back of one of my thighs. All I can see, is a vertical scratch.

Now, where the hell did I get that?

*sighs* Welcome to my world. I think I am just going to play it safe and just watch movies all day.

be;ieve it or not, I know how you feel. I don't have MS, but countless times I have been working my ass off, and got all set up and on the go, only to discover a scratch or something, one so severe that blood had soaked through my shirt to the point that the kids thought I had spilled wine on my arm. And I have lost COUNT of the bruises that pop up and when I spot them, it's like "WTF?" where did THAT come from...

So hang in the sugar- just no lopping off limbs in the kitchen, k?
