The last week has been a nightmare that I just want to wake up from. But I don't ever seem to find a way to escape. Watching helplessly as family and friends are torn apart. Screaming at each other blaming everyone but the one who is to blame. So many questions as to why. And as the days pass so many new things discovered.
At a time when everyone is grieving the most hateful and unforgiving remarks have been thrown in people's face. Anger has gotten the best out of the most level headed people that I know.
Secrets and lies so many that it almost seems like a movie. Not sure what to even say anymore. A person people thought so highly of in our community whose name now is splatter across the news, his name and business destroyed by aligations and lies.
After I got home from treatment yesterday I went out and sat on the bench on the hill for a little while . Just so that I could someone come to grip with all of this.
As I sat there I looked around and saw that I was literally surrounded by dragonflies. All sizes and colors. as i sat up there under the treesn watching them as they danced in mid air floating the breeze it gave me a sense of over whelming love and sadness.
Yesterday, six years ago my grandfather passed away after a short battle with cancer. I have always had a strong connection between dragonflies and my grandfather as at his buria there were tons of them there.
I watch as my sister is trying to come to grips with all of this. And seeing her hurting so badly, just kills me. The lawyers came and brought her the letter from our friend that he left for her and I think it finally gave her some closure. Because she really needs it.
