Well I got a call to go for another biopsy because apparently the one they did wasn't "conclusive enough". Whatever that means!



This time was a hard go. They did FOUR biopsy's and I was awake this time. PAIN like I've never experienced in my life! I don't know now how I managed to sleep through the last one!!



Thank God for the major morphene they injected directly into my IV afterwards (2 bottles). I was in pain but giggling like fool!



A 30 minute procedure for everyone was an 8 hour one for me. Kept me in to make sure I didn't start internal bleeding like last time. I guess I didn't!



Imagine you are poking a blunt end thick needle through a piece of thick leather... the kind of "pop" it makes when it finally goes through? Well imagine that feeling inside your lower chest (3 times for each biopsy and 4 biopsy's) Can you say OOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW!!! Yes I was crying and almost broke every bone in the poor nurses hand from squeezing it...



Then the doctor pulls the sample out and another doctor basically pushes down on the hole in your chest with all his weight (it feels like) to stop the bleeding! Oh I wouldn't wish this on anyone! Brother Darryl did describe it well when he said" it feels like Satan himself has reached into your chest and flicked your heart"! Imagine that if you will.......



And NO anesthesia... they give you a local which kinda freezes where they go in... but you can feel it when it is inside. They put a sedative in the IV and pain stuff... but not enough to knock you out. I just happened to pass out last time cause I was exhausted. They want you awake to breath certain ways and hold your breath as they are digging out chunks of liver! woohoo! My liver is apparently so dead its hard and not juicy like a normal one and its difficult to find a good specimen. Doesn't THAT sound lovely!!!! Thank God I had someone with me this time!



More tests next week!!! After all this I better be qualified for a transplant! Scarey shit let me tell ya! But gotta be strong!
