For the day to end

She steps up and is a friend.

Tired of hearing me whine

And cry and the such

She opened my eyes that were blind.

Step up and say what you must

If you don't your heart will bust.

As I see now what she meant

I did as she said

Thanks for the helping hand that you leant.

Times are better now

I thank you my friend

Even though you question me how.

If you only knew what you did for me

You would gladly accept

My thanks that comes so sincerely.
