The tail end of Hurricane Katia will apparently be rolling into Ireland as a tropical storm on Monday.
It reminds me of the day I arrived in Ireland for the first time, when a similar storm was threatening.
"Your neighbor's tree is so pretty!"
The next day the tree was gone.

I was just asking someone that lives there the other day if a hurricane from this end ever flipped around and went all the way to Ireland- all I could think about was that when the track showed it going out there.
I hope you don't get much damage out of it. Tropical Storms are of course lesser than hurricanes- but it's still worse than an average storm. Like you mentioned trees coming down and all.

The most damage that ever occurs here is if someones roof tile falls on their car.
