Yesterday, I revisited a Haunted Museum to confirm a previous experience, and it was validated in more ways than one.
During my last visit, I warned a woman to keep an eye on anyone mentioning a specific name. I mention this because someone used that name during the visit, even though they were neither an employee nor officially associated with the museum. However, they were assisting visitors and patrons and had access to certain keys.
While I was speaking with the woman I had previously warned, I noticed that the person who mentioned the specific name during the last visit, in front of around twenty people, shouted that I was a con artist. They did this as I was paying cash for a bill of nearly $180.00. Upon reflection, I now realize it might have been an intentional distraction because I did not receive a receipt for my new acquisitions.
Now, it is being suggested that I left the museum without paying for the new pieces I acquired. This is how those connected to that name operate, and it’s nothing new. I have had similar scenarios involving the specific name unfold over the last ten years. However, I know who is connected to the events, as well as the tactics they use.
I've been visiting the museum since long before they became aware of it or my presence, and I have no reason to screw over a place I respect. They, on the other hand, seem to have ulterior motives.
The one who called me a con artist yesterday was merely a pawn in a game they didn’t even realize was being played, and yesterday that pawn was taken out by a Knight.
