Ever get sick of dealing with children? I'm not talking about the actual kids out there, but the ones who are still acting like children when they shouldn't.

When you're trying to run a business, at no time should anyone be childish. The lunacy I've had to deal with the last 7 months has been incredible! Grown men that can't get past public school. Too caught up in their own petty little world of existence that they can't see past the moment to what really matters.

What am I talking about? Well, I used to be involved in a club in London, Ontario. My so-called business partners made decisions based not on business, but personal reasons the entire time.

Examples? Sure! I've got lots! A staff member shows up 3 hours late for a shift, with the excuse of 'i wasn't feeling well'. Choosing to fire her, I get reprimanded (understand, I'm a part owner and operations manager) even tho she has not done her job properly for over 2 weeks.

Our 'manager' who has flat out refused to do things ownership has told him is only suspended.. but hey, he's part of the majority partner's little clique. When I try to fire the same person, I get suspended!

2 of the 3 owners want him gone. Instead, the majority owner fires me and brings back, wait for it.. his previous partner who embezzeled thousands of dollars out of the club!

If you took the number of hours every employee put into that club and added it all up, i was still there more, doing more for the club and the scene. wait!! one more funny one here! When I get talking to our 'manager's' ex girlfriend (of 17 months) I get told I can't and that it's 'innapropriate', even tho, at the time he' s telling me, he's sharing his bed with a more recent ex... for THAT reason, I'm a bad businessman and am removed.

God this is pathetic. Ask anyone who has been in the club and they will tell you who actually works (ed) and who never did.

I just can't beleive the personal bullshit that occured. If any of you are in the London Ontario area I highly reccomend staying well away from dissent. To go there is to emperil your back, as it will be handily stabbed in by the 'ruling clique'.. Pathetic, primary school bullshit that doesn't deserve to exist past the 6th or 7th grade.

I'm sure i'll elaborate more in upcoming entries.. but here's a start...
