As I fall to sleep I can't help but to grit my teeth,
The images begin to flash across my brain,
Promising me another night of pain.
I try to tell myself it will all be alright,
But I can already imagine this dreadful night.
I'll toss and turn untill sleep envelopes me,
Thats when it will strike.
The thing I fear most will come to life.
It will devour first those dear and near.
As for me I'll be the last.
With no promise of tommorow only tonight.
I'll pick up my sword and fight,
And just as my body goes limp,
I'll stick my sword and peirce the heart,
It's then that I'll wake up out of the dark.
