soo i dont know if i told you guys, but my friend scott and i have been writing letters back and forth to eachother, and I just finally decided to start up a journal of our letters. and he's all for it! I'm soo excited for it. ^_^ kind of like when i get a reply from Karon on facebook. :) it makes me happy to see that she cares. (: woot! I wrote her a book tonight. (: five replies to a simple post.

i had the laziest CI day today. We did trail work today, but considering the altitude had gotten to me, i didnt have to do it. I made it about half way up the first trail and i couldn't do anymore. I was crying and just not feeling right. So Phil, bless him all to pieces for coming up last, took me down the hill and waited for Mark to come and get me. Mark came and got me and we drove to the office and Jen and Gabe gave me the day off. They didnt have anything for me to do, so i had the day off. I wandered downtown durango for about two and a half hours. It was nice. I sat down around 12:45ish on a bench and ate my lunch. I got so many sympathetic looks. It made me sick. That's not the best part. I got referred to a women's shelter because I told this guy that i didnt have any money to eat at this guy's restuaraunt. I didnt have my money with me, otherwise i wouldve gone and ate at the chinese restuarant. Soo the guy that referred to the women's shelter told me be safe and not get in trouble. It made me feel like a criminal. -.- soo that was my day. :) how was your day?

soo we had our second show lastnight. it was in the mountains. It was so beautiful there, but it was sooo freaking cold. It felt like Huron winter weather, but no snow, just cold. we had a good show. my host mom said we could do better at it. ugh! so tomorrow we leave for Durango, Colorado. I'm excited. I hope I dont get sick. :( I get car sick real easy. -.-



To all the Huronians that start school tomorrow morning: I wish you all the best luck this semester. I hope you all enjoy it. Enjoy it while you can. :) I miss you all! Our first up with people show is Tuesday for the host families and staff. Wednesday is our first premeir show. Thursday we leave for aspen. woot! The begins thursday!



yesterday and friday we did CI, community impact, and it was great. I went to the Rockies Food Bank and helped there. Yesterday We went to this transitional home for families that are getting back on their feet and we cleaned it up. I helped clean the daycare. It was so bad, but after it was done it looked great. :) I also helped paint. That was also a lot of fun. The first time i helped i painted pink, and my hands were stuck together. We had lunch, and then we painted more, but didnt have anymore color, so we painted it white. Two my castmates and I painted a part of the fence and sang are sleeping and if youre happy and you know it. Enrique sang it in spanish, and Shiowna sang it in Japanese. It was quite fun. We all got sunburnt and my fellow South Dakotan friend got really sunburnt quite bad. (: it was kind of funny. :)

we went to walmart today. it was nice. i got a new shirt, a purse, and a waterbottle. i had fun. :) we got in trouble cause we forgot to help clean up after lunch. oops. kill me please! im kind of ready to leave this host family... they're really cool and all, they're just on my nerves. (: we rented movies today. we're having ribs, salad, and corn for supper. yippie. -.- anyway... im off for now. leave me love! ♥

lastnight our host family took us out to this cajun resturant and we had deep fat fried alligator tale and deep fat fried pickles as an appetizer. I tried them both. it was fun. :) after that my roomates and i went to this swing dancing hall. Oh my gosh it was so much fun. I danced with like ten people. the first guy that i danced with was crazy, but it was fun and then he added jumps. it was a great night. at like 11 or something we left and caught the bus. we saw a drag queen. it was pretty neat. she was wearing this heels that would break my neck. :) but she seemed pretty cool. we walked past this drag queen resturant. it looked like fun. :) they had shows and everything. then we got on the bus and came home. :)
