i find most photography using a human model to be mundane.. i'd even go so far as to think it boring
unartsy and unimaginative...
every now and then one gets creative
but usually it's just different angles of naked people
and that does nothing for me
there is nothing interesting about that
i realize that my view on this is not shared by most people.
i guess being able to identify with the subject is what most people want
and why do they always depict what society deems beautiful?
if i were ever inclined to use models every single one would be the exact opposite of what you tell me 'beautiful' is
when i know you haven't a clue as to what true beauty really is
and i think you are missing out
Caught in a place somewhere between the conscious and unconscious you slip in and out of dreams that are not your own but that swirl in colours with your name. Wishing you had made different choices, hoping it’s not too late to find your place, you wander restlessly on black shores next to weeping seas. The sky drips red and you smear the ugliness into your skin wondering if the camouflage will hide you from the distant image that threatens steadily from the west. Angry waves lash out at unmoving rocks, beating themselves to pieces the way you’ve seen her struggle against the obstacles of life. She remembers you as you caress her thoughts at night, a phantom of who you always will be in her head. She’s there waiting at the end of your world, and, although you’d like to show her everything, what will be and what should be are captives of your own imagination and you cannot break out of the pattern you’ve always cultivated. Briefly you feel the guilt of promises you used to soothe her and you wish you could change the way things are… your fear pours in again and you feel the burn of frustration. The familiar words are written in the tide pools and it comforts you… nothing has changed
keeps getting in the way
what i want and what i need are too far apart
