The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

It was about a year after that break up with Serenity and Darius decided to return to the Academy. He couldn't be in the same city with her any more because then Darius would've attacked Ryoken if he seen him.

"Earth to Darius! Hellllloooo!" Darius's best friend Coraline (a Siren) snapped her fingers to get his attention and bring him back to earth.

"Oh sorry, I was day dreaming." He said and smiled a bit before he picked up his pencil to continue their drawing part of the project.

"Still thinking of Serenity?" Coraline asked.

"Her and if I want to go back to the Midnight Sun and re-enroll." Darius answered as his hand moved quickly over the paper not missing a beat.

"Because of Serenity and Ryoken?" She asked which caused Darius to snap his pencil in half and maikng Coraline step back a bit.

"Sorry if that bugged you!" She quickly said and watched as Darius brushed off the pieces of pencil and pull out another one to continue his drawing.

"That's one of the reasons." He said, setting the pencil down. Coraline had moved off of the desk and sat in his lap then placed her hands on his shoulders.

"A Vampire like you doesn't need a Vampress like her. You can have a Siren?" Darius knew that she was trying to either get him to sleep with her or bite her, he could tell that she was using her abilities but on a Vamp of his status it had no effect on him whatsoever.

"You do know that your abilities have no effect onn me?" Darius smirked and gave her a small kiss on the neck and he suddenly stood while she was still on his lap and then set her back in the chair he was sitting in. Coraline's lip stuck out as she crossed her arms in a pouting mood which made Darius laugh,

"If you want me to do something just ask. You dont have to use your abilities."

"Really?" Coraline asked, her mood brightening up again. Darius nodded,

"Mhmm. I think it's time for me to move on anyway."

Coraline smiled and pulled him towards her as she run her fingers through his hair. Darius kissed her lips softly and she bit his lip and pulled, he groaned a bit at that and pressed close to her. Coraline's hands raomed his chest and abs as he went to her neck and kisssed it.

"Mmm..." She said, holding the back of hie head with one hand and the other rubbed the front of his jeans.

"I want you to bite me. Taste the blood of a Siren,"

Darius grazed his fangs lightly near her jugular as his tongue licked her warm skin, making her blood race even quicker. He smiled against her neck and opened his mouth and bit down hard on her neck, her body lit up with desire when she let out a loud moan. Darius drank her thick delicious blood knowing the dangers of a Siren's blood but didn't care because she couldn't hypnotize him into doing her bidding.

PROLOUGE

"Darius, you know that you mean absolutely everything to me right?" Serenity asked as she caressed his cheek with her fingers. He knew that this was coming, the inevitable break up. His mind was telling him this was going to happen sooner than later but his heart didn't want to accept it. Darius didn't answer her right away.

"Please answer me," she said.

"Yes, I know you do." He answered quietly, and looked her in her blue-orange eyes, thinking. There was obviously someone else, he could tell by how her scent had changed and how she kept hidding her wrists.

"There's someone isn't there?" Darius asked.

"How could you say that?" Serenity's voice rose three octaves which validated Darius' hunch.

"Two reasons. One; because of your scent and two; these," he grabbed her right arm and pushed up her sleeve to expose newly healed bite marks. Serenity's eyes grew wide as Darius' eyes grew a darker amethyst color.

"Those are from-"

"No, not from me. I take blood from here," he lightly touched her neck, "never your wrists."

He paused for her response. When none came he continued speaking,

"I'm not going to compete with another Vamp for your attention and love. Because if that were to happen then you can expect his death." Darius said with little emotion in his voice but his eyes spoke volumes, causing Serenity to look away and ask,

"So is this the end?"

"It is," Darius said, placing one last kiss on her lips before dissipating in a dark haze, leaving Serenity on the rooftop alone cryin bloody tears....
