One day a vampire was having a dream. He dreamed he was walking in sunlight for the first time. He could hear the morning birds singing. He could smell the morning air as it slowly turned to the afternoon air. He walked and walked with no idea where he was going. suddenly a strange person stoped him and said to him "good day young sir, My name is Samuel D. Andreus." The vampire asked what can I do for you? The strange man paused for a minute and said " It is not what you can do for me, but what I can do for you." "And what's that," asked the Vampire confused. "I know who you are, what you are, where you come from, and most of all what you are seeking," replied the the stranger. The vampire replied, "I seek nothing, I have everthing I need." The stranger said to him, " this is the first time you have have ever been able to walk in sunlight, is it not." "Yes it is," said the Vampire." "Well It will not last forever," said the stranger "But I can make it so it will". "What's in it for you?" asked the Vampire. "I want you to give me the gift of eternal life so that I may pass it on to my family." "They have been sick for many days and they are on the verge of death," replied the man. The vampire said, " I will help you save your familly, but you most know what you are getting yourself into." "This kind of immortality comes with a price." "You will never be able to dine on regular food and possibly never be able to see sunlight again." "the only you can surrvive off of is the blood of mortals or the blood of animals." "Are you sure you want that?" "Yes," replied the man. "I do want that." The Vampire replied "I will give you this dark gift and you and your familly will live forever." "Thank you," the man said. "You shall now have the power to live and walk in daylight." The Vampire suddenly awakened. He opened his coffin and noticed that it was still daytime. He also noticed the sunlight was not bothering him. He climed out of his coffin and put on his boots and then walked outside. He saw a man sitting on the curb next to his gate. The vampire walked up to the man and noticed that he looked just like the stranger he had seen in his dream. "Excuse me sir, do you possibly remember me at all." The man turned around and looked at the vampire's face. "No sir, I am sorry but we have never met." The vampire was stunned at the man's response to his question. If the man had no memory of him then why is he able to survive in daylight and was it really a dream he had had?
