There once was a woman, lying in her bed.
She could not sleep.
She laid in bed for quiet some time.
From her window she can see the moon, bright and compelling.
Her eyes are on nothing but the moon.
Suddenly a face appears, lingering in the moon looking down upon the woman.
She runs outside to get a better view of the man's face in the moon.
She runs through the forest to the edge of a mountain.
She glances up at the man's face.
It suddenly disappears.
A noise from the forest is heard.
*woman turns around*
There is a man walking toward her, he moves faster and as he gets closer she sees it was the man in the moon.
She smiles at him and he smiles at her.
He vanishes.
*woman glances up at the moon*
His face has returned and he is smiling and looking down on her.
She walks back through the forest, to her house, watching the moon the whole way.
She lays down in her bed glancing at the moon before she starts to fall asleep.
She sees his face one more time and falls asleep smiling.
Her love is not gone after all, for he is the man in the moon watching over her.
