Dusk and early mornings such as this one.I was sitting outside after throwing hay and checking on the ponies , drinking coffee and reading a book when a deer poked her nose out of the treeline almost directly in front of me.Shortly after,there was another,then another.I just kept doing what I was doing,turning the page every so often..taking a sip.They would stop and watch me for a minute and then, slowly but tenatively,they all came out and began to graze right there.Even a fawn who was about to experience its first winter...
