Here we are at the crossroads of yet another new year. It's always a good time to reflect on where we are in life. What am I happy about and what would I like to change, if anything? Do I want to set goals of any kind, especially ones that are difficult to achieve? Sure, setting the bar kind of high gives you something to shoot for but then are you disappointed in yourself if you fall short? I'm going to try to keep it realistic this year. I would like to try and lose a little weight but keep in mind my age and the fact that my metabolism isn't what it used to be. Also, I like food and I'm not going to deny myself that pleasure totally. I'm going to try to keep working on inner peace but not turn a blind eye to bullshit. Instead, find a better way to deal with the bullshit. I am content with most things in my life at the moment so not too many resolutions per se this year.
I'd be curious as to what other people's resolutions are. Care to share?
Thank you Anne Rice for sharing some of your journey with us. We are all better off for it. Namaste
I'll follow you down 'til the sound of my voice will haunt you
