2005 saw some amazing albums come out, but I would recommend System of a Down's Hypnotize/Mezmerize two disk set. It's worth the money to buy these albums, because they are layered with System's best song writing, and musical inventiveness to date. They are known as a deeply political band within the context of their song writing (as well as quite vocal outside of their music). I could go on, and on about each songs meaning, and musical structure, etc., but rather then bore you with that I'll just suggest going to their website, and stream some music. Make your own judgements about the two new albums, but I doubt you'll be disappointed.
