I stand up to fall back down
I reach out for no one to grab me
With every faliure I try harder
Only to obtain the same negative results
My efforts seem futile, but still I try again and again
For what reason am I carrying on anymore?
I can see the light far off in the distance
so close just out of reach from my fingertips
My happiness lies there lingering for me to grab it
I continue to march on forward hoping
that I will eventually reach my light.
It's so close I can feel an illuminating glow
flowing through my darkned soul
Trying to ease my pain trying to get me up again
Just a little taste of what may soon come,
I will climb my way on hands and knees to reach you
To feel that happiness I know I deserve!
I continue for one reason alone
so that I can become more than just half a person.
I want to become whole...
