The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

My neighbor, who I love dearly, lets his work van sit in the driveway started, but idling, for about 45 minutes every morning beginning at about 5 am. Sometimes he lets it sit for longer. Not only is this terrible for the environment, but it is also quite irritating on the mornings I wish to sleep in a bit. It is an older panel van that clearly is in need of a new muffler or some engine work, as it is loud. It sounds as if it were parked in my bedroom. I am considering mentioning it to him. Wonder how that would go?
