As Fox Mulder said "The truth is out there....." you just got to get off your lazy ass and find it.



I don't know how many years I spent researching the Vampiric/ Vampiric community before finding what I was looking for. I spent hours in bookstores, libraries, and finally when the internet was available I spent hours mining the net to find the people and the answers. Knowlage is not something that is just handed to you, work for it you lazy bastard!



When you want a diploma, degree, licence, or any kind of certification you have to study and pass trials and tests. Why should Magick or Vampyric studies be any different?



It just bugs the fuck out of me (as it does many old timers) that the younger generation can just look up something on the internet and take it for gospel. How do you know that what your reading is true and not some bullshit made up to throw you off? There are plenty of gaming sites and sites put up by various loony toons that say a lot of shit. Thing is that you have to weed through it all and find the truth.



Sometimes a simple Google or Amazon search would answer a lot of questions. Still, young ones want it handed to them, just for the asking. Ha! They don't call it the Occult for nothing, dummy!

Tonight it's getting cold. Despite this I have the patio door open and I'm enjoying the first cool night of fall. I miss the smell of burning leaves that used the permiate the air this time of year. This year it's rough. Money is short, Mom's having bypass surgery this week. At least I have the cats for company, lol.



I seriously need to get back out, to go see the crew in Norfolk. Ryu is not doing well and I worry about him. He'll pull through, I hope.

I have vacation at the end of the month, I can look forward to the rest.
