A scream echoes within my head,

Waiting to be released.

It wants to be heard,

But will not come out,

Because it knows,

It will fall on deaf ears.

It is trapped without a voice,

For it knows,

There isn't anyone who cares.

Trapped in silence,

It will remain,

Only to return,

When someone cares again.

Don't know when that will be.

Only then it will be free.

The scream will be loud,

So it can release all its pain,

So it can be content once again.

For now it will be held,

In complete silence,

Within my head,
