The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

First off I know some people are lucky enough to have a short week this week thanks to Thanksgiving, I'm not one of those people. I work in retail so I get one day off and then the fun begins. I don't really mind working "black" friday, the day goes by so much faster and it really is fun for me to watch people. But today they fired one of out team leads out of the blue. This was such a shock to all of us. So much for the season of giving.

So today for me really sucked. I am a supervision at my job and I had to pull one of my new people into the office to have a talk with him. My biggest problem with him is that every time anyone tries to correct him on something he gives push back and he doesn't listen. He admitted to not listening and said he couldn't promise that it wouldn't happen again. But then also told me that i was taking his not listening as him being defiant. No matter what i said he had some kind of excuse as to why he didn't listen or why he pushed back. A 15 min chat turned into an hour long chat. He argued with everything I was saying even though I was trying to give him my expectations, what i expect from him and from the team. I had typed up a list of things to speak to him about and I told him if he wanted a copy then I'd be more then happy to copy it for him and that I was going to give a copy to our HR Jessica. Later that day he asked me if he was suppose to get a copy from Jeremiah. I asked him a copy of what? He said the copy you said i could have. I asked, oh you mean the paper i told you about earlier, Jeremiah doesn't have it I'm the only one with a copy. He said, SO i'm suppose to get it from him? I was like no, I'm the only one with a copy, if you want one i'll get it for you. Well who am i suppose to get a copy from? By this point I was trying not to do one of two things, Hit him and laugh. So again i said, I will get you a copy, do you want a copy? He said yes, so I told him to follow me and gave him the copy. Later I asked the other team lead who had been in the office with me if I had ever said anything about Jeremiah having a copy of the paper. She said no you said you had it and would give a copy to Jessica.....So about him not listening....

So far this week has started off pretty crappy. People I once called friends have alienated me for reasons that they refuse to share with me. My best friend is letting her girlfriend call the shots and now isn't allowed to be around me unless she is around. And her reasoning for this, I'm to good of a friend....Apparently I did things for my friend that normal friends don't do. So I guess in other words I care for my friend more then her own girlfriend if I was doing things for my friend that her girlfriend never thought of. I realize my biggest upset is that my best friend went from being in my life on a very daily bases to only talking once ever few days by text. And for her sake I'm sitting her pretending that this isn't killing me. Okay so yes I'm in love with my best friend, but I love her enough to keep it to myself. She had chosen me the first time and her girlfriend the second time. But at least I have the end of the week to look forward too. Another friend is going with me to see New Moon and she has a photo shoot the day before that.
