Life returns, confusion drifts away
Eyes reopen, staring into reality
Objectives are few, standing where I last lay
How did I recover from my fatality
Steps feeling as if my first
Anyone to harm
Searching to quench my thirst
Juicy flesh, or human arms
First victim comes along
Speed naturally quickens
Hoping their life won’t last long
My hunger begins to thicken
Arms wrap around my prey
Loud, desperate weeps
Making this their last day
Soon my teeth inject deep
Urge slowly resides
Soon others will have to die
Leaving eaten bodies behind
Making all just like I
Foreign object enters my head
Consciousness begins to fade
Obvious that I’ll be dead
Down again to lay
