The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

This is a protection spell to protect you from negative energy that has been coming your way. I've done many protection spells in my life and I felt it was time to simplify how I usually do it because sometimes I put way too many oils and herbs on my candle, sometimes simple is better.

~Ingredients~

- tray / candle holder (non-flammable of course)
- matches or lighter
- black candle (any size)
- black pepper (protection against negativity)
- palo santo stick (clears negative energy)
- rosemary oil or leaves (protection and cleansing)
- salt (creates protective boundaries)

~Preparation~

*Clean your home physically and spiritually. When your house is nice and clear, you will feel the same! Burn palo santo to cleanse the energy of your home, open windows or doors to let out the energies to make room for new positive energy. Lay salt across the entries of your home, front door, back door, side doors, windows, etc. Shower.
On a tray or candle holder, place a black candle of your choosing. Put black pepper, rosemary, and salt on or around your candle.

~Shield Spell~

"As this candle glows,
My shield grows.
Guard me night and day,
No danger comes my way.
With salt and herb,
No ill will shall disturb."

*Light your candle. As the flame burns, visualize a shield surrounding you, your home, or whatever you wish to protect. Imagine negative energy dissolving away, unable to cross the protective boundary you've made. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

~Closing Words~

"The flame may fade, but the shield remains."
