Cultures are wonderful things to research and you will find religions are tantamount to culture, for the culture is derived from it. Aside from the area the civilization develops religion is paramount to it. It explains the unexplainable to those that can't handle their limitations in understanding. They come up with falsities to explain that which they don't understand instead of trying to find the true answers. A wise person knows that they know nothing, relatively speaking of course. ;) I picked this Goddess because she represents wisdom. That is what I value higher than anything.

Saraswathi is also the goddess of the arts ... which also can be interpreted as knowledge. Nice choice.



Yeah it can also be spelled with a 'thi' ... that would be the proper pronunciation in Tamil or any other Indian language. But 'ti' is also good.
