Plant the seeds of love, warm sun
Save the wounded rose
As if they will live forever, they reach for the suns warmth
In night the shrink away, hiding in the darkness, alone and forgotten
What happens when frost's first kiss caresses the very root
Such frail beauty withers with neglect and remorse
What is the simple rose supposed to do without the sun
Does the sun long for the rose in the snowy depths
Will it wait for the rose or move on to shine elsewhere
Pretty rose why hold onto fading sunlight
Longing for the full suns embrace to bath you in warmth once more
No imitating light could warm you so
Though the clouds have hidden the sun, locking it away for their own
What will you do now
One would suppose wither, it would be easy to take the frigged sting away
Just shrivel and rot away in the long cold soil
Why hold on to false hope of the suns return
Turn blue as ice and freeze with the world
Turn black as shadow and fall into empty ground
Wither away into the hole you so fondly hid from the sun
I am fortunes fool. What happens to the story if Romeo is no more?
Vanishing in a storm of ice, wind and snow
If Juliet remains.
Staring out the window
Much like the light of a candle
Set to bring home the soul of love
Would living alone and apart not be more tragic a punishment
Sick and twisted the story may become
But a lonesome dove, kills itself without companionship
Swans take no other, nor does a wolf nor penguin
What is the sun with no moon
To share his light
Winter with no summer to warm her frigged hold
I may be loves sap, but loves I am none the less
Like Juliet with out her romeo I will be punished
Banished to ice and snow.
