"On Feb. 17th of this year, Fox news did a report on the University of Missouri recognizing Pagan and Wiccan holidays. While the school is trying to honor cultural diversity as well as the diversity of various religions, the news is making fun of it. The news cast says there are 20 holidays being recognized saying that it has the most holidays... I just looked it up... there are 11 Christian holidays, 45 Catholic holidays, 21 Jewish holidays, but yet only 8 for Pagan and Wiccans. Also a comment was made about Halloween being a holiday... Halloween is a commercialized holiday; where the actual Pagan holiday is known as Samhain... For many Pagan and Wiccan traditions, Samhain is a time to reconnect with our ancestors, and honor those who have died. This is the time when the veil between our world and the spirit realm is thin, so it's the perfect time of year to make contact with the dead.



I am among many that are greatly offended by the lack of research that was done by a supposed professional source and the way that the comments were said.



Please sign this petition to encourage this news group to right the way they wronged us, and learn from their mistakes...

yes it is, the best thing about it that it's mostly symbolically correct, each element of the vision - spirits of the guardian ancestors, death and rebirth, life flashing before your eyes, spirits of the animals and so on; there is also some movie plot content in it, like when 'Broken Nose' realized that he blamed his mortal enemy for what he didn't do
