Outcasts 2

Shaddow and Serriku couldn't focus for the whole day. Their minds were both wrapped around the thought of there being someone else to ignore. It was a painful thought... The school was crowded enough already. Serriku was worried about the boy's reputation. He had a completely blank slate. No suspensions, no detentions, no nothing. It was frightening. You don't trust people like that, you just don't.

Shaddow was worried about his family. Something seemed so familiar and almost frightening about that picture perfect family. If only she could figure out what was so familiar...

Nicole and Morgan were more curious than cautious. Morgan liked to know everything about everyone. And now that there was someone new, she had to find out any information.

Nicole barely cared about this Redrum, but she did want to know why his very presence made Shaddow's eyes glaze over in thought. She and Shaddow had been friends for years, and she knew that her friend had good judgement. If the carefreee Shaddow could get so worked up over one person, she knew something was up. They all knew. And they were all determined to find out what it was that was so troubling.

Outcasts 1

"Its the same." muttered Serriku, sitting in her part of the corner.

"Dont complain. It's better to know that there's no surprise visits or random girls in bright, flashy colors walking over here to call us weirdos." said Shaddow, tugging at the woven collar around her neck.

"Hey, it's not that bad... We've got Kita to go to, right? She's always in the art room." commented Morgan, cheering her nails. Nicole simply nodded and flicked her pocket knife. For the first time in a long while, the first few minutes of school were heaven. No one was yelling or running or insults.... It was just... Peace. Peace didn't come often for them. It was hell 90% of the time and it was good just to relax.

"Speaking of Kita.... Where is she? She's never sick or anything... I'm worried. The substitute is a real pain and I'd rather deal with death by needles than Miss Taylor." said Nicole, flicking the knife once more.

Shaddow noticed that everything was slowly bit surely dulling down ever since Kita had gone MIA. No one ever worried about the Outcasts except Kita. She always made sure to give them some form of attention, and people always knew to leave them alone. Now, they weren't acknowledged in the slightest and no one, not even the former Outcast members, turned their heads.

"Redrum." said Shaddow, scratching her head.

"I thought you didn't drink." said Morgan, confused.

"No, Sherlock. That's the new kid's name. Redrum. He came, she dissapeared. Coincidence? I think not. It's a clichè in a story. Something's up." mumbled Shaddow, biting into an apple.

"He lives on Bruns Creek, right? That place is pure nature.... He's lucky." said Serriku.

"Lucky... Hm. I wonder." said Morgan, drawing blood from her own finger. She felt the Sensation in her brain and wondered... Who exactly is this kid?

Outcasts Intro (I dunno, I'm just writing my story thing here...)

22:38 Sep 27 2009
Times Read: 566

No one talks to that group of kids that hang out in their own little corner. They're the outcasts, the 'untouchables' of school society. You were lucky if anyone from that group spoke to you without a look of scorn or words of contempt. There had been quite a few kids in that group... But they gradually grew closer and closer to the normal kids. Even if they did still hang with the outcasts, they were no longer considered one of them. Morgan, Shaddow, Serriku, and Nicole were the last four members of the Outcasts that actually deserved to be called by that name. Every day of high school got more and more difficult. They each held a secret that they couldn't even tell their own little group. The others who had gone into the "in-crowd" had turned bossy, ungrateful, stuck-up, and worst of all, they no longer had that reputation of being different. They're dark secrets, they're individuality, and sense of self guidance was lost and the four remaining Outcasts couldn't bring themselves to share their harsh, cold secrets with one another for the trust that had once been there was now tattered and torn. Now, the death of someone they held dear and the news of a new student forces the last Outcasts to trust each other once again.
