And yet, slowly, he saw that the snow and ice was melting. Flowers and trees, grass and animals were coming to life around him, and all for the simple reason that she was present. And he realized that spring may actually come this time, and it frightened and thrilled him. But she abated his fear, for she would be there.



Though spring holds great beauty, he knew, that he would always treasure ... January.
